Stanford Wyatt 509-335-8637 Stanford Wyatt is an architect with a practice in Seattle. Before establishing his own firm in 1983, Mr. Wyatt worked in the offices of Mitchell/Giurgola in Philadelphia and Caudill, Rowlett, Scott in Los Angeles. He received a Bachelor of Architecture degree, cum laude, from the University of New Mexico and a Master of Architecture degree from the University of Pennsylvania where he studied with Louis Kahn. His academic background also includes post graduate work at Yale University in the Master of Environmental Design program and at Cambridge University where, as a Thouron Fellow, he read in architecture. He has taught at the University of Pennsylvania, Montana State University, the University of Washington, Kansas State University and Washington State University. He is the recipient of the Phi Kappa Phi Distinguished Teacher Award from Montana State University and the Outstanding Teaching Award from the School of Architecture and Construction Management at Washington State University. In addition to teaching, Mr. Wyatt held the Chair of the Design Department at the Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle. He has received national and international recognition for his professional work, and his theoretical investigations, as well as his built projects, have been published and exhibited in this county and abroad.
