The SR26 Project: Books, Posters, Postcards
Stretching from I-90/Vantage to SR195/Colfax, state route 26 is most noted as a monotonous, uneventful
experience. The books, posters, and postcards in the SR26 gift collection intend to reverse this perception
by amplifying unseen and unfelt attributes. The road and its flanks are presented as a work of art rather than
its more common categorization as a work or transport only.

The Yellowtown Collection: Postcards
The Yellowtown Collection represents an exploration into the pervasiveness of the most easily perceived
color—Yellow (our eyes are most efficient when we are seeing yellow). It records a hidden cultural
intersection in the landscape of Pullman, Washington—an unseen common ground (in this case yellow)
that unites disciplines that before seemed unrelated. The images and text in the postcard collection provide
a new visual community of yellow which includes digital imagery, food and drink, martial arts, horticulture,
entomology, traffic safety, firefighting, law enforcement, construction, fashion, physics, chemistry and the arts.
